Al Younbouh Walk 2011
The students are busy rehearsing a show stopping routine and we are preparing surprises. “Walk with Al Younbouh 2011” will be the best yet! Over the years we have seen the change the “Walk” has brought about – acceptance and understanding being one of our objectives.
This year our Youth Voluntary Committee is organizing a competition for “Best Team Animation” and “Biggest Team”. Be creative, wear your team t-shirts and join us in celebration of our students.
We are planning a great event this year, join us, encourage your family and friends and colleagues too. Be there, have fun and support us.

Al Younbouh Rehabilitation Center organizes several fund raising projects which also serve to raise awareness of the center. Originally organized by the Women’s Voluntary Committee in 2003, “Walk with Al Younbouh” began as a simple sponsored walk. Today however the walk animated by Tony Baroud, has become the Center’s main fund raising event, with corporate sponsors and collaborators. All the various members of the Al Younbouh family are involved in the preparation and execution of these activities.
Beginning and ending at Fouad Chehab Stadium, “Walk with Al Younbouh” is a five-kilometer walk through the streets of Jounieh, everyone is invited from babies in pushchairs and children on bicycles to the elderly. While different forms of entertainment are introduced each year, the main attraction of the walk is a show put on by the students of the center – some of the students are incredible attention seekers!! Come and meet them, interact with them, see how much fun they have, see how deserving they are. Everyone thoroughly enjoys the walk, students, staff, volunteers and the public alike.
There is no entry fee – be there, join us, support us! We hope to see as many of you as possible.
